St. Paul’s Girls’ School, Hammersmith, London W6
Client: St. Paul's Girls' School
RMA prepared a site-wide landscape masterplan for this leading independent school. The site consists of a series of confined urban spaces in Hammersmith and the new landscape framework unifies the site with a strong language of tree planting and hard materials. The plan gives definition to streets, entrances and spaces for quiet recreation and group study.
The first phase to be implemented was the new entrance court at the front of the school on Brook Green, designed to reflect the school’s ethos of quality and excellence. The layout makes reference to the original design intent of the 1900s layout and the scheme was implemented to a very tight programme over the summer of 2009.
